This unwanted flex causes inconsistent clutch engagement and missed shifts at best, plus worn synchronizers and a broken quadrant at worst. Admittedly amazing difference over stock!

I bought this to replace my stock quadrant that was nigh to blow into pieces due to information technology being plastic. Steeda's arrived fast and the quality of this piece was height notch! Elementary And Reliable

I've had one of these quadrants with a stock clutch cable and Steeda firewall adjuster in my 85 GT for over seven years. It's good non having to worry virtually it every bit I've never needed to get back in there to readjust anything. The double claw allows y'all to use the stock clutch cable or the Steeda/adjustable cable. The hardest part about installing it, is getting the original plastic quadrant parts out. If you plan on using this with the stock clutch cable, too purchase the Steeda Firewall Adjuster to take up the slack.
